The purpose of an Equity partner is normally to fund a large (or small) part of the equity required in return for a relative amount of profit, thus reducing the developers risk and in some cases increasing their return on investment (ROI). On the other hand a Joint Venture (JV) is normally sought when a professional team of experienced developers is required to team up on a project, sometimes with a land owner that has no development experience, some equity may also be required.
Equity funding normally starts at £1m although we have investors for smaller developments on a case by case basis.
Joint Venture (JV) arrangements and funding is also available for various propositions depending on the development and potential returns on offer.
